Firstly the ambiance is that of a charming, metropolitan, Tel Aviv-ian Cafe The staff is very friendly, including the owners who are two lovely women who are very involved in the day-to-day operations. Order at the counter and then sit down. Great place for a date, to catch up with an old friend or three. Probably not great for big families. The food was overall wonderful, but as this is a new establishment I have given 5 stars for now and I have some constructive feedback below. I hope Cafe Demi reads these reviews and considers this feedback. Cheese Bourekas: Flavor is excellent, Texture of filling is a bit too sandy, too dry, not a soft hot sponginess that you expect Apparently made of Feta, Parm, Cheddar, and possibly another cheese (I don’t quite remember) I would prefer a more traditional sheep feta kashkaval egg filling Mozzarella Sandwich: Overall a lovely sandwich Fresh mozzarella tastes as it should Balsamic glaze makes the sandwich a bit too sweet (regular balsamic vinegar would be better) Pesto tastes like it is made from blanched basil and may not be made in house The tomatoes are somewhat mealy grocery store tomatoes but that is no fault of the establishment and I look forward to coming back in the summer to see if they take advantage of the more quality tomatoes that are available then. Sundried tomato spread is nice and strong and when farm-fresh tomatoes are available it may not be necessary to add this. Ciabatta texture was nice and the flavor would benefit from a longer fermentation The sandwich would also benefit from a touch of quality EVOO Mushroom Soup: Was quite good. A warm bowl full with delicious savory mushrooms. Great in the winter time. This would be a more comforting bowl of soup if they had browned the mushrooms and onions in some oil before adding a broth. Overall great. Whipped Ricotta Tartine (open faced sandwich) Very pretty! And tastes Good. But bread should be toasted for texture (though it was very fresh). Almonds should be toasted for flavor and texture. A fresh berry compote with pieces of berry would be better than Jam. Jerusalem Chopped Salad: All around great, tasty, beautiful, well-ballanced salad, highly recommend. Tomatoes were not great but again, it is winter, what can you expect. Kalamata Olives: Excellent! Walnut Rollup: Flaky, nutty, sweet, a great accompaniment to an unsweetened hot beverage. I hear they have excellent single origin coffee and I look forward to trying it next time!

Just love this new place! The sandwiches and salads are so fresh and made to order. As a gluten free eater, I love the variety and that they have both dessert and sandwich options for me, as well as salad! Have gone twice so far and will definitely go again. Be patient with service, they are new and often very busy. I guess the word is out that the stuff is delicious. Also kosher.

Lovely place with a great ambience. Prices are what you would expect for a nice cafe, about 5 to 7 for a coffee and maybe 15 or so for a breakfast. It is a kosher cafe, so as a vegetarian I was able to find a lot of great options on the menu. The food was presented very nicely and was extremely tasty. In our case it took quite a long time to come out, but we were happy to sit in the sun and drink our coffees while we waited. I appreciated that the coffees came in actual ceramic and glass cups rather than single use paper and plastic. The server apologized when the food finally came out so I'm assuming that was not the norm for them. Either way, we didn't mind, it was busy and it was worth waiting for. There are some sidewalk tables for people who prefer outdoor dining in the nice weather and there are maybe 10 or so tables inside. Several people came with strollers so it seems pretty kid friendly. I will definitely be back! Update: Been back several times and got our food expediently! It was also delicious. One note -- if you want to have a glass cup for your cold brew (which I always do), you can't order the large, only small.

The food was absolutely delightful! The restaurant is pretty small, so it can get full and tight quickly. Patrons are very friendly, so we did not mind sharing a table with two other women there. There is some outdoor sitting area, which is nice , weather permitting. Parking can get a little tricky..follow parking guidelines.. I will definitely visit this place again!!highly recommended...

There is much to say. We are very thankful for the companionship we have built with both Devora and Miriam and their wonderful staff. It’s encouraging to see their family so involved along with their awesome staff. Their love for their customers through not only their amazing baked goods and high quality coffee, their care about you and your story. We are better because of them and so thankful for their partnership with us as fellow coffee business owners. What many would see as competition we have seen as a powerful partnership and friendship! Cheers.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! Great vibe and lots of light (both literal and spiritual) in this place. Delicious food and the owners are a pleasure to chat with and give business to. Highly recommend, especially the mozzarella sandwich and chai latte. Also a great place just to sit and chat with a friend!
